About the Artist

Jacques Davide is a Lambertville, NJ-based artist working within a variety of media and genres. He has studied art extensively as a graduate from The University of the Arts, and has further continued this pursuit as a working artist, involved in an array of projects which include portraiture commissions, along with fine art, illustration, and comic books.

As a lifelong artist, Jacques is guided towards the evocation of a moment. It is from this act of realization that personal experience is merged with base materials in a process that is both transformational and engrossing, as it is alchemical.

Currently, Jacques works in his Lambertville studio, instilling his passions towards a new and ever-expanding series of art works. Whether it is intended for exhibition or print, it is all guided by an intrepid, ambitious, and unyielding pursuit for a genuine vision, and for the pursuit of art for its own sake.
